The picked blueberry fruits are collected from plantations directly on vehicles equipped with cooling units and then they are transported to cooling chambers, the so-called shockers, where they are cooled down to the temperature of about 2 *C.
Then they are transported to cooling chambers where the temperature is maintained at about 1 *C. Cooled fruits are transported to sorting and prepared for sale. The whole process of sorting, packing and loading of the blueberries is carried out with maintaining the cold chain.
